Precariedade e Desemprego: Fatalidade ou Projeto | Fórum Precariedade e Desemprego
No sábado, dia 9 de Novembro, começamos o Fórum Precariedade e Desemprego com um debate centrado sobre a proposta de regime que nos tem vindo a ser imposta.
Hoje sabemos que mais de metade da população trabalhadora está em situação de desemprego ou é contratada de forma precária. O desemprego, que tem vindo a subir nos últimos anos, afeta hoje cerca de um milhão de pessoas, e mais de metade destas não tem direito a qualquer prestação de apoio. Por outro lado o desemprego funciona hoje como uma verdadeira reciclagem de regimes de contrato, onde os despedidos voltam a ser contratados de forma precária. Ao mesmo tempo que se observa o crescimento do desemprego a precariedade acompanha também este crescimento e está ligada a ele, já que a situação de precariedade muitas vezes se caracteriza por uma alternância entre trabalho e desemprego.
Neste primeiro momento do Fórum Precariedade e Desemprego procuraremos discutir os aspetos deste novo regime procurando desmistificar a fatalidade que nos prometem e garantindo que este é um projeto para o futuro. Para esta discussão convidamos vários intervenientes que têm refletido e agido sobre estas problemáticas: José Soeiro, sociólogo que neste momento se encontra a desenvolver um projeto de doutoramento na área da precariedade; Sandra Monteiro, jornalista da versão portuguesa do Le Monde Diplomatique; Ricardo Antunes, sociólogo, professor universitário da Universidade Estadual de Campinas no Brasil e autor de diversas publicações sobre trabalho, participará através de uma intervenção em vídeo; Mário Nogueira, sindicalista e secretário-geral da FENPROF; Ilona Kóvacs, socióloga e professora universitária no ISEG em Lisboa, investiga sobre novas formas de organização no trabalho; Marco Marques, da Associação de Combate à Precariedade.
